Tulsi Gabbard Publishes Chilling Video on What Happens to You

IF THE NUKES GO OFF
This Is Not Sci-Fi
Some people would like to ignore how close we are to a nuclear war, but truth is we are closer than ever. The fact the Tulsi is putting out a video like this one — it quietly says there are concerns in Washington, DC. Your life is gone if your town or city is hit directly, if you’re outside the zone, your health will never recover. — DML
The Shadow of Nuclear Devastation
On June 10, in a chilling video (watch here), Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard recently revisited the haunting ruins of Hiroshima, drawing a stark comparison between the 1945 atomic bomb and today's nuclear arsenal. Her message is clear: the technological advancements in nuclear weapons have escalated the potential for catastrophic destruction to an unimaginable scale. Where the Hiroshima bomb yielded 15 kilotons, modern warheads like the B83 and Trident dwarf this with yields that could kill millions instantly. This escalation demands our attention, not just as a historical reflection but as a pressing contemporary warning.
Immediate Impact in the Epicenter: If a nuclear bomb detonates in a major U.S. city like New York, Miami, Houston, Chicago, or Los Angeles, the immediate zone of impact would be lethal. Within a few miles, the blast, heat, and radiation would result in instant death for millions of people, depending on the bomb's yield and the city's population density.
Health Impacts at a Distance:
For example, imagine “The Hamptons”, located 100 Miles East of NYC on Long Island: Even at this distance, the fallout could pose significant health risks. Radioactive particles carried by prevailing winds could contaminate the area, leading to acute radiation sickness in those exposed. Symptoms might include nausea, vomiting, and fatigue within hours, escalating to hair loss, severe skin burns, and internal bleeding over days. Long-term, residents could face an increased risk of thyroid cancer, leukemia, and other radiation-induced illnesses due to iodine-131 and cesium-137 in the fallout.
Jupiter, FL, More Than 150 Miles North of Miami: Similarly, fallout could reach this area, though the intensity would be less due to distance. However, prolonged exposure to lower levels of radiation could still cause chronic health issues. Residents might experience radiation sickness with milder initial symptoms like headaches and dizziness, but over time, they could develop cataracts, cardiovascular diseases, and a higher incidence of cancers. The contamination of local water supplies and crops could exacerbate these risks, leading to ingestion of radioactive materials.
Environmental and Agricultural Consequences: Crops within a 100-mile radius of the detonation could be contaminated, disrupting agriculture and threatening food security. Acid rain, resulting from the interaction of nuclear fallout with atmospheric moisture, would further damage ecosystems and water supplies, compounding the crisis.
Illnesses and Their Manifestations: The illnesses from radiation exposure are profound. Acute radiation sickness presents with nausea, vomiting, and hair loss, progressing to severe burns and internal damage causing bleeding and organ failure. Long-term, survivors might face leukemia, thyroid cancer, and other malignancies. The psychological toll, including PTSD, anxiety, and depression, would be significant, affecting communities far beyond the blast zone.
Globally, nine countries currently possess nuclear weapons, with several others, like Iran and Saudi Arabia, on the brink of development. Among these, Russia, China, North Korea, and potentially Iran stand as adversaries to the U.S., heightening the risk of conflict. This reality compels us to confront the fragility of our world and the urgent need for diplomatic solutions to prevent such a catastrophe.
Gabbard's video is a sobering reminder that the lessons of Hiroshima must not be forgotten. As we navigate an era of heightened nuclear tension, our response must be one of vigilance, preparedness, and a relentless pursuit of peace. The shadow of nuclear devastation looms large, but it is within our power to ensure it never darkens our future.
